“It definitely peaked in ways to make you get out of yourself & realize there’s a whole other world out there… but it was never scary.”

  • 00:00 — It wasn't scary. It was just like, oh, I'm starting to go there. And then I laid down and relaxed. And although it was very heightened in the beginning with lots of psychedelic color and images and the music sometimes heightened your experience, it was never anxious.

00:17 — It definitely peaked in ways to make you kind of get out of yourself and realize, you know, there's this whole other world out there, spiritual world and realms. But it wasn't ever scary, or my heartbeat never felt like it was beating too fast, or I couldn't breathe. I had none of that.

3. Journey Session

Duration: about 6-8 hours at the service center

Prepare:

  • Reduce technology use. Spend time in nature, write in a journal, stretch, and engage in activities that help you focus and reflect.

  • Hydrate with water and be mindful of caffeine.

  • Aim to fast (water only) at least 3 hours before your journey. If food is needed aim for something light and easy to digest such as a piece of fruit (but no grapefruit).

  • Avoid fragrances; deodorant is acceptable.

Arrive at the Service Center:

  • I'll greet you and help you store your personal items.

  • We'll review our plan and check-in before we begin.

Begin the Journey:

  • If agreed upon during Preparation, you’ll receive a ceremonial smudging and listen to an opening blessing of the container.

  • A service center representative will bring you the psilocybin product.

  • You’ll focus on your intention and mindfully consume the psilocybin.

  • Settle in with an eye mask (optional), relax, and turn your focus inward.

  • Breathe and let the music guide you.

  • You’ll likely feel the effects within 15-60 minutes.

The Psilocybin Experience:

  • I'll be there to facilitate, applying our prep work to support your journey.

  • Expect various sensations, knowing they're part of the journey.

  • Trust that the mushrooms will give you what you need.

  • Be curious and open to exploring your inner terrain.

  • Embrace the beautiful and challenging with curiosity. Trust that it's all part of what you need to learn, even if it's hard to understand in the moment.

  • As your journey comes to an end, we’ll close with gratitude.

Aftercare:

  • You'll stay onsite until cleared to sign out of the service center.

  • Stick to your transportation plan. No driving today.

  • Plan a calm, relaxing evening to reflect on your experience.

4. Integration Sessions

Duration: Two 1-hour sessions via Zoom

Schedule: about one week and one month post-experience

We encourage you to schedule your Integration Sessions in advance to ensure you're well supported. Please note this format is different for groups.

The final part of the psilocybin process is integration. Integration begins right after your Journey Session and is key to maximizing its impact. Slowing down with reflective practices like journaling, enjoying nature, and creating art are helpful. This time weaves the insights and shifts from your experience into daily life. Together, we'll explore various resources to support a meaningful integration process, ensuring your journey continues to enrich your life after the session ends.
